How to Log on to Windows XP

Step 1
Enter your username. Example: John Smith’s username is jsmith
(Your username is your college e-mail address, the first letter of your first name and your last name )

Step 2
Enter your password (email) (Unless changed by you, it is the last 6 digits of your SSN)

Remember
Applications can be accessed from the Start >All Programs Menu
Always log off after the end of your session from Start > Log Off



Please Note:
Nothing will be saved to the hard drive. If you save anything on this computer, it will be erased the next time you log on. If you wish to save any files you may save them onto the Q: drive from My Computer > classroom on “Classw(Q:)” or on a floppy disk, zip drive or by using FTP, WWW, or WebCT.
